48 now, and have always enjoyed the talent and powerful music from Maynard. I can relate to this song as I have been clean from MDMA, mescaline and other hallucinogens for 13 years now, and I am truly thankful for being sober now. There is much more clarity and much less chaos and paranoia. Life is much more manageable now. I wonder sometimes, did all those hallucinogenic drugs actually help me with my compulsive disorders and anger towards my father and people similar to him.? Lessons and Blessings. I am thankful and not angry towards my father anymore, instead, I am grateful and I love my dad, for all the good, all the bad, and all the ugly, because I know what I want and I am much more aware now. That last "over you" is a declaration of power. Now I see the lies. Now I start to see that I have control over my life. Now I see that I am not weak or powerless, because I am "over you" -- and all the lies I believed for way too long.

I’ll never forget where I was at listening to this album for the first time . My older sister was out on a date and I would go hang out in her room. she had a speaker in there so I hooked up my MP3 player to it and jammed this whole album over and over until she finally got home and told me to get out her room lol. Queens have the best guitar hooks.

I dated someone for a few years who said he was a Queens fan. Only ever heard "go with the flow" and "feel good hit etc etc"....while classics are classic, I feel so cheated to only find out in the year of our lord 2022 that Queens has so many good songs.
